Eucalyptus essential oil is used in aromatherapy to help with colds and flu. It is also known for its antiseptic properties, which can be applied topically or inhaled through a diffuser.
The first known use was in Chinese medicine, where it was mixed with water for inhalation to treat asthma or used externally as an antiseptic.
Eucalyptus has been an important medicinal herb since ancient times due to its antiseptic qualities that are perfect for fighting the common cold during the winter months when we are likely to be exposed to viruses and bacteria / other microbes more often than ever. Our bulk oils are diluted in a carrier oil, more precisely in organic sunflower oil. The ratio is 70% essential oil, 30% carrier oil. This solution is important to adequately reduce the essential oil concentration that your respiratory tracts, eyes, and skin can safely absorb per dose.
TOPICAL USE: Use a carrier oil such as jojoba, almond, or coconut to make a therapeutic blend that gives you all the benefits of this wonderful oil.
OTHER USE: Our oils can be used as perfumes, to make cosmetics, soaps, and to add aromas to incense, candles, and other products. However keep in mind the concentration of oils such as cinnamon, clove, citrus, and mints are naturally much stronger and it is recommended to dilute further for topical use. You can add almond oil or coconut oil to take full advantage of the benefits that these oils provide.
