Frankincense is an aromatic resin obtained from the sap of various trees. It has a sweet smell, and its manufacture spread through ancient cultures in Africa and Asia for religious ceremonies such as prayers to idols or offerings during holidays such as Christmas and masses in Catholic churches.
The origins are unclear, but it may have been used by nomadic tribes living near oases long before trade routes between Egypt, India, Arabia, China, and East Africa were established.

TOPICAL USE: Use a carrier oil such as jojoba, almond, or coconut to make a therapeutic blend that gives you all the benefits of this wonderful oil.

OTHER USE: Our oils can be used as perfumes, to make cosmetics, soaps, and to add aromas to incense, candles, and other products. However keep in mind the concentration of oils such as cinnamon, clove, citrus, and mints are naturally much stronger and it is recommended to dilute further for topical use. You can add almond oil or coconut oil to take full advantage of the benefits that these oils provide.
