Sage essential oil is derived from the leaves and stems of sage plants. When the production of organic herbs began, it began to be cultivated in Spain, being one of the countries that currently has the highest quality sage. It has been used for centuries to promote mental clarity, purify the airways, and relieve muscle cramps, among other things. Sage's fragrance can be described as camphor with an earthy undertone that helps soothe aching muscles or the brain fog that can develop due to physical exertion.
The scent of sage is also helpful in aromatherapy applications, imparting feelings of well-being when inhaled during meditation sessions while providing relief from stress-related headaches by clearing up clogged sinuses that are often caused by tension-related migraines such as those mentioned above. The strong sage essential oil has a long and interesting history. The first mention of sage dates back to 5000 BC. C. Sages are part of traditional healing practices throughout the world, including in China for the prevention and treatment of cancer. Humans are also believed to have been using this herb since before 8000 BC because traces were found in pottery from Ancient Greece dating back centuries.
