Sandalwood essential oil is a lovely woodsy scent with calming properties. Used in aromatherapy, sandalwood has been shown to have an effect on the nervous system and can be used to promote relaxation while reducing feelings of anxiety and depression.
Sandalwoods are either Australian native trees or Asian imports from India, the latter being cheaper but not as potent because it contains chemicals that inhibit their therapeutic effects. That's why we only use pure Aussie-grown stuff! There are many different grades of oils sold at your local store though so don't go overboard spending if you're unsure about what exactly you need.

AROMATHERAPY: use 3 or 4 drops in the diffuser of your choice.
TOPICAL USE: Use a carrier oil such as jojoba, almond, or coconut to make a therapeutic blend that provides all the benefits of this wonderful oil.
CAUTION: This product is highly concentrated and should be used with care. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive skin. If pregnant or lactating, consult your healthcare practitioner. External Use only.
